EMII CMG ARTISTS HONORED WITH MULTIPLE GRAMMY NOMINATIONS -
Artists in the EMI Christian Music Group family were honored with multiple nominations this year. The Clark Sisters earned triple honors for their album “Blessed and Highly Favored,” (EMI Gospel) including Best Traditional Gospel Album. Donald Lawrence & The Tri-City Singers earned two nominations for their latest release, “The Grand Finale: Encourage Yourself” (EMI Gospel). TobyMac was recognized twice, with a Song of the Year nomination for “Made To Love,” a track from “Portable Sounds,” (ForeFront) which was nominated in the Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album category. Newcomer Mandisa earns her first Grammy nomination for her debut record, “True Beauty.”

Bill & Gloria Gaither & The Homecoming Friends (Gaither Music Group) in the Best Southern, Country or Bluegrass Gospel Album category. EMI Gospel artist Smokie Norful also earned a nomination in the Best Traditional Gospel Album category for “Life Changing.”
